Color Hue Test
About Color Hue Test
The Color Hue Test page opens Hue Test in Hue Line mode. It is a casual take on the familiar hue-arrangement idea: each row shows a band of colors between two fixed anchor chips, and your job is to put the shuffled chips in between into the right order.
Rows get harder as you go. The first row spans a wide range of hues with seven movable chips; the last packs fifteen chips into a narrow band, where neighbouring chips differ only slightly. After each submit you see which chips were out of place, and your final result is the average score of the five rows.
Because screens differ, this is a game and not a color-vision assessment. Use the same device and settings if you want to compare your own results over time.
How to Play Color Hue Test
- Tap one chip, then another, to swap them.
- Make each row an even transition from the left anchor to the right anchor.
- Submit each row and review the crosses before moving on.
Color Hue Test Tips & Tricks
- Fix the chips next to each anchor first – they are the easiest to judge.
- Look for sudden jumps; a smooth row has no chip that 'pops' out.
