Find the Different Color

This page opens Odd Hue Out. A grid of tiles appears, and one tile is a slightly different hue from the rest. Tap it to score and move to the next grid.

As you score, grids get bigger and the difference gets smaller. You have 60 seconds to find as many odd tiles as possible.

Tips for spotting the odd tile

Don't stare at a single tile – take in the whole grid at once.
Blink or look away briefly if colours start blurring together.
Scan the edges and corners, where it's easy to miss.
Turn off night mode so colours are accurate.

Why it gets hard

At first the odd tile differs clearly. Later the difference is a few degrees of hue, close to what many screens can show. That's why scores level off – and why practice still helps.
